Welcome to Bhodor. These Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern your use of our website, mobile application, and any services provided by our platform. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these T&C, the following terms apply:
- "Platform": Refers to the website and mobile application operated by Bhodor.
- "Vendor": Any third-party seller offering food products through our platform.
- "Customer": Any individual or entity purchasing goods or services from the platform.
- "Services": All features, functions, and services provided through the platform.
2. Eligibility
- By creating an account, you represent and warrant that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must register an account:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Any activity under your account is deemed to be your responsibility.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately.
4. Use of the Platform
By using our platform, you agree to:
- Use the platform for lawful purposes only and in compliance with applicable Bangladeshi laws.
- Not engage in fraudulent or misleading activity, including placing false orders or impersonating another person.
- Not interfere with the platform's operations, including unauthorized access to systems or spreading malicious software.
5. Orders and Payments
- Orders placed on the platform are subject to vendor availability.
- Payment methods accepted include cash on delivery, mobile banking, and credit/debit cards.
- The platform is not responsible for delays caused by payment gateway issues.
6. Vendor Obligations
- Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring the quality, freshness, and safety of their products.
- All vendors must comply with the Digital Commerce Act, 2018 and applicable food safety regulations in Bangladesh.
- Disputes related to product quality or delivery will be addressed per the platform's dispute resolution policy.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
- Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
- Orders once placed cannot be canceled unless expressly permitted under our refund policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
The platform is not liable for:
- Errors or omissions made by vendors, including incorrect or delayed delivery.
- Health issues arising from food items provided by vendors.
- Losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters or strikes.
9. Intellectual Property
- All content on the platform, including logos, text, and images, is the intellectual property of Bhodor.
- Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
10. Termination
- We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the platform if you violate these terms.
- Termination does not absolve users of their financial obligations for completed transactions.
11. Dispute Resolution
All disputes will be resolved as follows:
- Submit a written complaint through our dispute resolution system.
- We aim to resolve complaints within 15 business days.
- Unresolved disputes may be escalated to the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) or relevant legal authorities in Bangladesh.
12. Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these T&C at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the platform. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any legal actions will be conducted under the jurisdiction of Bangladeshi courts.
